THANK YOU to everyone for their generous donations in 2023! Because of your support, we were able to provide wardrobes to over 1200 elementary and middle school students from all school districts in Porter County. Our mission is to give kids from all economic backgrounds the same opportunity to feel confident in the clothes they wear to school. Also thank you to those organizations and individuals who held clothing drives or donated new clothing, shoes, and Kohl's cash for us! Together we make a difference in the lives of Porter County children!

We're Now Accepting Donations of ALL NEW clothing!
Dressed for School has been awarded a grant from the Porter County Community Foundation that will be used for the remodel of our store! We are turning a classroom at VALE (the former Hayes Leonard Elementary School) into the store where students will come to shop for their wardrobes. The store, located at 653 Hayes Leonard Road, will be open beginning in August 2019. Appointments can be made through a Valparaiso Elementary School Social Worker or by contacting us by email at dressedforschoolvalpo@gmail.com. Dressed for School would like to give a huge thank you to the Porter County Community Foundation and Valparaiso Community Schools!
